As a Host/Hostess of Workshop17 Hyde Park Corner, you’ll be the smile, heart and soul of our team’s business operations and the first point of contact for all our members. From your warm welcome to offering the ultimate coworking experience to all our Workshop17 members and guests - you’re always on your A-game and ready to take it up a notch or two.  Attention to detail, oh yes. 

With proficient admin skills, you can easily update our system with leads, sales, and other needs. As the head of customer happiness, you’re service-driven-savvy, have problem-solving superpowers, and can multitask while never dropping the ball.

General scope of work:

Hosting

  • Managing the reception area and reception duties. 

  • Ensuring all members and guests experience a warm and professional Workshop17 welcome.

  • First point of contact to all guests and members, and directing them.

Community Management

  • Assist the team with the following, yet not limited tasks:

    Walkthroughs

    Space checks

    Parking requests

    Use of the my.w17 community platform

    Onboarding and offboarding

  • Managing and escalating member queries.

  • Office customisation - e.g. welcome set up, vinyl prints, etc.

  • Assist with member/community engagement.

Team player/support

  • Provide general support to the location team and assist all departments when necessary.

  • Assist the team with managing scheduled and ad-hoc tasks, and ensuring they are completed on time.

 

Financial Administration

  • Updating the daily payments sheet.

  • Assist with the raising of POs & invoices

Operations and Maintenance

  • Assist the team with location facilities management which includes but is not limited to: 

    Space cleanliness and setup

    Logging and ensuring maintenance is resolved

    Stock management - Paper, consumables, stationery, cafe stock, etc.

Events and Cafe support

  • Support to the event/meeting room bookings:

    Booking meeting rooms for members and external clients.

    Assist with management of events on-site (Catering, staff, IT/AV, running orders, room layout)

  • Assisting at the Cafe when required

Client satisfaction

  • Ensure 5-star service to all clients/members at all times.

  • Provide services, assistance, and solutions that often exceed clients’ expectations.

  • Timely and professional response to all requests.


Ideal Qualifications/Experience

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

  • 1 - 2 Years experience in coworking or shared office sector, hospitality, and/or customer-facing operations.

  • Tech-savvy, systems driven, and experience using G-Suite.

  • An upbeat, energetic, positive, mature and professional attitude. Proactive, passionate and reliable problem-solver who thrives on providing exceptional customer experiences.

  • Ability to handle multiple requests, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be responsive to requests.

  • Deadline-driven and the ability to implement national initiatives through to completion.

  • Attention to detail, organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to engage and adapt well to team/group settings.
