Workshop17 Firestation is situated around a fully functioning firestation in the heart of Rosebank combining old and new. The existing heritage building is full of character and is home to our public café, seminar room, board rooms, members lounge and dedicated offices. The 10th floor in the new building is modern and boasts uninterrupted views from the offices and terraces reaching over the city all the way to Magaliesburg. On the 10th floor you will find dedicated offices with hot desks and lounge areas, a café and meeting rooms. Between the old and new, Workshop17 Firestation offers over 170 hot desks, 27 private offices and more than 10 meeting rooms, seminar rooms and training spaces with access to lounges and break away areas.
Open offices and coworking is changing the way people meet, innovate and collaborate. At Workshop17 Firestation in Rosebank we offer our members 310m² hot desks, standing desks and dedicated seats. Members who would like to arrange meetings can make use of our meeting rooms and board rooms or arrange a catch up in the café. Our Ideas Lounge and Pause Room is the perfect informal break-away space with small meeting tables and comfortable seating, making it the ideal space for brainstorming.

Our private and semi-private offices are perfectly designed for teams looking for privacy and convenient team catch ups with an easy transition back into the collaborative shared environment. All our offices can be customised to suit the needs of our members. Similarly, furniture configurations are flexible and can adapt to individual needs. Workshop17 Firestation have offices located on the 10th floor with beautiful views of the Johannesburg skyline and the 1st floor with easy access to the entrance of Firestation and the public café area.
EVENTS AND MEETINGS
Our event and meeting spaces are available for use by our members and public. Workshop17 members receive discounts or credits to book these spaces, depending on the type of membership. The meeting spaces cater for a variety of meeting styles ranging from standing meetings, lounge configurations and boardroom style seating.
