Open and collaborative workspaces is a movement that started small during the turn of the century and has steadily grown to many sectors all over the world. The aim of these spaces is to increase collaboration amongst employees and members of the community and remove the outdated hierarchical barriers in companies and organisations. Employees in open areas no longer feel that management is inaccessible and are encouraged to approach one another to collaborate and share ideas and opinions.
Running a successful collaborative space is not only about removing literal barriers. At Workshop17 we have created spaces like Ideas Lounges, pause rooms, informal meeting booths, lounges and open café's to encourage employees to work closely together. Members who prefer some privacy or are crunching to meet a deadline are welcome to use our silent hot-desking spaces and pit stop booths. Our my.W17 Platform lists all our members and their expertise from the different locations, encouraging members to reach out to each other. Members are also able to make a booking in our meeting rooms, boardrooms and seminar rooms from the platform.
At Workshop17 we create environments for working, meeting and innovating whether you are an individual, part of a team or organisation or a larger network. Our flexible member plans include walk-in day use, monthly memberships and nomadic workers who only need a couple of hours each month.
Get in touch with our Community Managers who will set up a meeting with you to show you around the locations and find the perfect membership to suit your needs.
